I’m no stranger to Brussels, having been several times before. When setting out to visit 12 countries, I did intend to visit new places, however when planning my trip from Barcelona to Carcassonne it worked out cheaper to fly from Carcassonne to Brussels to Edinburgh than Carcassonne to Edinburgh direct so why not take the cheaper option and visit beer lovers heaven? I won’t talk too much about this trip. I walked the city, ate chips and mayo, drank beer, met up with an old friend, drank more beer, met more friends, pissed on a church (it’s tradition), ate some chocolate, drank more beer, ate pizza, and drank beer. As I feel at home in Brussels I don’t want to write too much about it. If you like beer, it’s a must. If you like architecture, it’s a must. If you want to a city break to a laid back city, it’s a must. I will return because it’s so laid back and welcoming……..and because of it’s amazing beer selection.
