The End of 2016

So at the end of 2016, I went further North and Further East than I have ever been. I, however, failed to reach my furthest South and East.

Do I consider 2016 a failure? No. I had some fantastic adventures. Visiting Russia and Spitsbergen were absolutely amazing. The remoteness and beauty of Svalbard made the year. The people I have met along the way have been fantastic, and meeting up with old friends has been brilliant.

However, the most significant thing that has happened this year, I became an uncle.

Let's hope 2017 brings more adventures, more fun and more friendships.
